My Story... far...

I was born in North Vancouver, BC, on April 13, 1979 and have lived and worked in and around the Greater Vancouver Area for most of my life.  My wife, Fololini, and I have been married for 14 years and we have 3 beautiful children: Brent Jr, Deron, and Celestial.

Since I was old enough to hold a pencil, I've be drawing an doodling, my earliest memories being me using my family's old tube television as a vertical "light-box" of sorts to trace my favorite cartoon characters from books and comics!

I was fortunate to have received some instruction from a Disney animator when I was still in elementary school, part of private art lessons taught by his sister out of her home in Abbotsford, BC where I grew up.  This originally inspired me to one day work at Disney, but those dreams changed a bit as time went on...

I've always loved video games too...I remember playing Burger Time on my brother's Atari Gemini when I was just a "wee lad!" The gaming platform that really got me into games, though, was the Commodore Amiga, which was way ahead of it's time!  I made my first game with a program called the Shoot 'em Up Construction Kit...and that's where the seeds of being a game artist were planted...

Through the incredible instruction and mentor-ship of my high school technology teacher, Bill Henderson, and some hard work on my part, I found myself working my first job in games at Electronic Arts on one of EA's most successful and highest rated franchises, Need for Speed...and the rest, as they say, is history...
